Job Overview

This role is fully site-based and involves working across multiple HCA Healthcare UK locations in London, providing operational and clinical cover where required. Travel between sites will be expected as part of the role.

We're looking for a Clinical Case Manager to join our Case Management Team, providing support across HCA Healthcare UK's hospital network in London.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Band 6 (or equivalent) nurse with extensive inpatient bedside nursing experience across both adult and paediatric care, or a senior nurse with a strong background within the healthcare insurance sector. As part of a central float team, you'll provide expert case management support across multiple HCA sites, stepping into services where additional expertise, capacity or cover is required. The role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise, leadership skills and professional judgement in a broader, system-focused position that influences patient outcomes across the HCA network.

Working across some of the UK's leading private hospitals, you'll partner with multidisciplinary teams, consultants and third-party payers to coordinate complex patient journeys, support effective discharge planning and optimise patient outcomes. We're seeking someone with a proven track record of clinical leadership, autonomous decision-making and managing complex care pathways who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse range of specialities, patient groups and clinical settings.

Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Others may think this is just a role in the Case Management Team, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist case management support across HCA Healthcare UK's hospital network, covering planned and unplanned service requirements.
  • Assess, plan, coordinate and review patient care and discharge planning across adult and paediatric services from admission through to discharge.

Requirements

  • Registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse, with substantial post-registration experience and demonstrable exposure to paediatric care.
