Float Executive Assistant GCM

Location: London Bank Street
Contract: 12 months
Work Setup: Hybrid - 4 days in the office; 9AM-5:30PM

We are looking for an organised and adaptable Float Executive Assistant with Investment Banking or Global Capital Markets experience. You will support the GCM team with diary management, meetings, travel and expenses. Knowledge of ECM, DCM, M&A, Leveraged Finance, FICC, Credit or Structured Finance is required.

Who You Will Work With

Our client is a global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and design strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex and constantly changing diaries, maintaining full control of schedules, prioritising commitments, resolving clashes, and acting as a key gatekeeper.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, video conferences, and calls, ensuring all logistics, venues, and dial-in details are arranged efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients across domestic and international business functions.
  • Organise and oversee end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas, foreign currency, and ground transportation.
  • Process and monitor expenses, invoices, and corporate card submissions in line with company policy, ensuring timely approval and reconciliation through systems such as Concur.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and support the planning and delivery of client, team, and corporate events, alongside ad hoc administrative projects.
  • Provide effective absence and telephone cover for colleagues, ensuring seamless support through up-to-date handover notes and collaborative buddy-team working practices.

What You Bring

  • Recent Executive Assistant experience within Investment Banking or Global Capital Markets.
  • Experience supporting Managing Directors and other senior banking professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of areas such as ECM, DCM, M&A, Leveraged Finance, FICC, Credit or Structured Finance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex and fast-changing diaries.
  • Experience arranging international travel, visas and detailed itineraries.
  • Skilled in coordinating roadshows, client meetings, events and Concur expenses.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global time zones and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
