We are a group of companies comprising Nor-Sea Foods Ltd, Nolans Seafoods UK Ltd, and International Fish Canners Ltd, with sites located in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. We produce a range of quality fish products, primarily under private label, for a worldwide customer base, trading principally in pelagic species including mackerel, herring, and sprats.
We are currently recruiting for a Floating Production Shift Manager who will be predominantly based at our Fraserburgh site to provide cover for both of our factories there.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a forward-thinking approach and a proven track record in a similar role, preferably within the chilled food industry.

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Achieving daily production targets
- Monitoring yields, performance, waste, and other key production KPIs
- Controlling incoming and outgoing raw materials
- Managing labor utilisation and efficiency
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Supervising, developing, and supporting production teams
- Liaising with Factory/Technical Managers to ensure systems and practices meet quality criteria
- Leading daily meetings with key staff, engineering, and technical teams as required

The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of shifts which could include day shift, back shift, and night shift as needed, as well as participate in a weekend cover rota when required. Occasional travel to Aberdeen may be required to provide support and cover to our factories there based on operational demand.
