Floating Support Worker
This is a permanent part-time contract, 16hrs per week (days to be discussed at interview)
Salary £27,274 - £29,070 per annum (pro rata)
We have a part-time permanent vacancy for a Community Services Floating Support Team Member.
The main purpose of the job is to provide peripatetic specialist support to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, homelessness as well as other complex needs such as physical health needs, learning disabilities, and care needs.
To provide floating support on rota bases throughout all the projects within Community Services. To work within the Community Services Team to promote independence and choice to all the people we support
We are looking for:
- Someone with the passion and drive to support anyone finding themselves in this situation.
- Evidence of emotional resilience and tenacity to provide support, even when faced with resistance.
- Experience of supporting people who have poor mental health, addictions or who are ex-offenders.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible.
- Someone who is able to drive, as we are supporting people in the community and hostels.
