Overview

As a Floor Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. You will lead by example on the shop floor, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, visual merchandising, and operational excellence are maintained at all times.

Working closely with the management team, you will motivate and develop the sales team, drive sales performance, and ensure the store reflects the premium standards of the Holland Cooper. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment where customers receive a luxury shopping experience while supporting the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer receives a premium shopping experience.
  • Lead by example in achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Support the management team in driving daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge and confidently communicate the brand story and collections.
  • Monitor sales opportunities and proactively maximise store performance.

Team Leadership

  • Support and motivate the sales team to achieve personal and store objectives.
  • Assist with coaching, training and developing team members through regular feedback.
  • Act as a role model for professionalism, customer service and company standards.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure completion throughout the trading day.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive working environment.

Store Operations

  • Ensure the shop floor is presented to the highest visual merchandising standards.
  • Support stock management, deliveries, replenishment and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, health & safety, and security standards are followed.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Support store administration and operational processes to ensure smooth daily running.

  • Previous retail management experience, within a premium or luxury retail environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a results-driven approach.
  • Confidence in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail and excellent presentation standards.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and peak trading periods when required.
  • A genuine passion for luxury fashion and the Holland Cooper brand.
