Floor Manager – Florattica

Overview of Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Floor Manager to join the team at Florattica, our premium rooftop bar in the heart of London.

As a key member of the management team, the Floor Manager will play an important role in delivering the exceptional level of service and guest experience expected from a pinnacle bar destination.

The successful candidate will be a natural leader with a strong presence on the floor, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine passion for premium hospitality, cocktails and creating memorable guest experiences.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager or similar supervisory role within a high-end bar, restaurant, hotel or luxury hospitality environment.

The Role

As Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of Florattica and ensuring that every service is delivered smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and coordinating the floor team during service, ensuring a seamless and engaging guest experience.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of service, presentation and attention to detail throughout the venue.
  • Acting as a visible and confident presence on the floor, engaging with guests and proactively managing their experience.
  • Supporting the management team with the organisation and execution of daily operations.
  • Conducting pre-service briefings and ensuring the team is fully informed about reservations, events, VIP guests, menu updates and operational priorities.
  • Managing table flow and working closely with the reservations, bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and premium beverage service, and confidently supporting the team with guest recommendations.
  • Ensuring the team has a strong understanding of Florattica’s cocktail offering and consistently delivers the appropriate level of product knowledge.
  • Monitoring service standards and providing real-time coaching, guidance and support to team members.
  • Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, confidently and with discretion.
  • Supporting the training, development and motivation of the floor team.
  • Ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
  • Supporting stock awareness, operational organisation and effective communication between departments.
  • Ensuring all health & safety, licensing, responsible service and company procedures are followed at all times.
  • Supporting private events, activations and high-profile occasions within the venue.
  • Leading by example and consistently representing the standards, culture and values of Florattica and 4C Group.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who combines strong operational ability with personality, presence and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You Will

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager or comparable supervisory position within premium hospitality.
  • Ideally have experience within a high-end cocktail bar, rooftop venue, luxury hotel, premium restaurant or destination bar.
  • Have strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and premium beverage service.
  • Be highly organised and able to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a confident leader who can motivate, develop and organise a diverse team.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of luxury service standards.
  • Be guest-focused, proactive and comfortable building relationships with regular guests, VIPs and first-time visitors.
  • Remain calm, professional and solutions-focused during busy services.
  • Be commercially aware and understand the importance of efficiency, sales, guest satisfaction and team performance.
  • Be flexible, approachable and sociable in nature.
  • Demonstrate leadership and consistently role-model our core values.
  • Have the confidence and personality to represent one of our flagship hospitality venues.
  • Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts as required by the business.
