About the Role

As a Floor Manager at Mulberry, you play a key role in supporting the leadership team to drive daily performance, lead the team on the shop floor, and ensure operational excellence. You will take ownership of key areas of the store, lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experiences, and support the development of team members to achieve commercial and service KPIs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Commercial Focus

  • Drive daily sales and KPI performance through effective floor leadership.
  • Support the execution of commercial priorities, promotions, and product launches.
  • Use store data and insights to identify opportunities and take action to improve results.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and share commercial updates with the team.

Customer Experience

  • Lead by example in delivering the Mulberry customer experience.
  • Be consistently present on the floor to coach and support the team.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the store environment is welcoming, well-presented, and aligned with brand standards.

Team Development

  • Support the Assistant Manager in coaching and developing team members.
  • Provide regular feedback and on-the-spot coaching to drive performance.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new starters.
  • Recognise and celebrate individual and team achievements.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operational tasks, including replenishment, stock handling, and till operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Support accurate execution of store processes and routines.
  • Assist with rota planning and ensure effective floor coverage.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a key link between the leadership team and the wider store team.
  • Communicate priorities clearly and ensure team alignment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to deliver store objectives.
  • Share feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in a supervisory or senior sales role within retail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Organised, proactive, and confident in decision-making.
  • Passion for retail and the Mulberry brand.
