Floor Manager
We are looking for an experienced and service-driven Floor Manager to join the team at Annabel’s, one of the world’s most iconic private members’ clubs and part of The Birley Clubs, on a fixed-term contract from September to January.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team during a special period as Annabel’s prepares for a takeover, working alongside an exceptional Front of House team to deliver the impeccable service and unforgettable experiences for which the Club is renowned.
Located in the heart of Mayfair, Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square spans 26,000 square feet and is home to five restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon. A team of world-class Chefs, Sommeliers and Mixologists have designed an outstanding array of menus, cocktails and wine lists. Expertly sourced, seasonal ingredients, wines and spirits are brought together using traditional and subversive techniques to create truly unique dining and drinking experiences.
As Floor Manager, you will play a key role in leading the Front of House team and ensuring service runs seamlessly from start to finish. You will lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of service while supporting the team to create exceptional experiences for our Members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing the floor and working closely with the Front of House team to ensure service runs smoothly and all revenue opportunities are maximised
- Ensuring all Members and their guests receive the highest levels of service throughout their experience
- Leading by example and adopting a hands-on, positive and proactive approach to service
- Supporting the training and development of the Front of House team, ensuring colleagues are confident and fully equipped to deliver their roles effectively
- Ensuring Members’ feedback and complaints are handled professionally and effectively, with a focus on achieving a positive outcome
- Maintaining clear and effective communication between the Front and Back of House throughout service
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with operational administration, including rotas, holidays and ordering
- Monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of presentation, service and operational efficiency across the floor

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have previous experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a high-quality restaurant, luxury hotel or private members’ club
- Have a genuine passion for hospitality, food and delivering exceptional levels of service
- Be confident and clear communicators with the ability to build strong relationships with Members, guests and colleagues
- Have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Be highly organised, able to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Have a hands-on and proactive approach to service
- Have good IT skills; previous experience with Fourth and FnB Shop would be advantageous
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Food Safety practices
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Be available to commit to the full September to January fixed-term contract
