Flagship Floor Manager

New Flagship Store

This is an exciting opportunity to join POP MART ahead of the opening of a brand-new flagship store in London. Ahead of launch, the successful candidate will complete a training period of a few weeks at one of our existing stores to build hands-on experience with our systems, standards, and team culture before helping to lead the new flagship from day one.

The Role and Candidate

The Flagship Floor Manager leads from the front on the shop floor, driving operational excellence and commercial results during their shift. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the store leadership team to motivate the team, own floor performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint, while keeping the floor running smoothly and aligned with POP MART's brand standards.

The position requires a confident, commercially aware retail manager who can set the pace on the floor, coaching the team to maintain high standards of presentation and service. The Floor Manager takes ownership of day-to-day floor operations, including opening and closing routines, cash handling, stock accuracy, and audit compliance, escalating to the Store Manager where needed.

A key focus of this role is supporting the recruitment, training, and development of colleagues, building a high-performing, engaged, and customer-focused team. The Floor Manager also works closely with store leadership to help push sales targets, elevate customer engagement, and maintain a best-in-class retail environment.

This position plays an important part in bringing POP MART's brand and products to life on the shop floor, helping to set the standard for customer experience and operational excellence across the store.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the shop floor to deliver exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for every customer.
  • Drive strong commercial performance through effective merchandising, stock management, and team motivation.
  • Take ownership of key performance indicators for the shift, ensuring consistent progress and strong overall results.
  • Support smooth day-to-day operations, including opening and closing routines, cash processes, audit compliance, stock accuracy, and cost control.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop colleagues, building a high-performing, engaged, and customer-focused team.
  • Support the execution of launches, brand activations, and promotional events on the shop floor.
  • Uphold compliance with health & safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supervisory management experience within a fast-paced, high-volume retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer-resolution skills, confident in handling complex situations.
  • Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of store operations and performance drivers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold high standards in a fast-paced setting.
  • Genuine passion for pop culture, collectibles, and delivering memorable customer experiences.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Knowledge of CEGID POS usage
  • Experience in the toy or collectibles industry
  • Experience in visual merchandising techniques
  • Multi-lingual language ability
