Its specialist divisions are staffed by experienced tradespeople, many with over 40 years of hands-on expertise.

Role Description

The Flooring Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Shrewsbury, responsible for the professional installation of a range of flooring products in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include assessing job requirements, preparing subfloors, measuring and cutting materials, and installing LVT flooring, Vinyl Flooring, etc. to company standards. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, using appropriate tools and techniques, and following all health and safety guidelines. The Flooring Installer will liaise with customers and colleagues, provide clear updates on project progress, and ensure each job is completed on time and to a high-quality finish.

  • Ability to install and finish a variety of flooring types, including general Flooring (LVT & VINYL)
  • Skills in Hardwood Flooring installation and maintenance (Optional)
  • Proficiency in fitting Carpet flooring, including measuring, cutting, and securing for a neat finish (Optional)
  • Experience working with Ceramic flooring materials, including cutting, laying, and grouting (Optional)
  • Strong practical skills, including safe use of hand and power tools and accurate measurement.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle flooring materials safely.
  • Reliable time management, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Previous experience as a flooring installer or related trade; relevant vocational training or certifications are an advantage.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices on-site and willingness to follow company procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations in Shrewsbury and surrounding areas as needed.
