About Us

Hello of Mayfair, in partnership with Chelsea Florals, is seeking an experienced and passionate Floral Sales Manager to join our team at one of London's leading floral wholesale businesses in Nine Elms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded florist with strong leadership skills to take ownership of our sales operation. You'll work with premium fresh flowers, build lasting relationships with customers, lead a dedicated team, and help drive the continued growth of the business.

About the Role

As our Floral Sales Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the floral stand, ensuring exceptional customer service, outstanding product presentation, and strong commercial performance.

This is a hands-on role requiring both floristry expertise and leadership experience. You will be expected to advise customers, create beautiful hand-tied bouquets when required, manage stock, and motivate the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily sales operation of the floral stand.
  • Liaise with customers on-site, providing expert advice on fresh flowers, seasonal products, and bespoke floral requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to maximise sales and encourage repeat business.
  • Create professional hand-tied fresh flower bouquets and floral arrangements when required.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the floristry and sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure the stand is attractively merchandised and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimise waste while maintaining excellent product quality.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety procedures, and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Florist with a strong knowledge of fresh flowers.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role within floristry, retail, or wholesale.
  • Ability to create high-quality hand-tied bouquets and bespoke floral arrangements.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Confidence in advising customers and recommending suitable floral products.
  • Commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic IT skills, including email and stock management systems.

  • Experience within a flower wholesale market or busy retail florist.
  • Experience purchasing fresh flowers and managing stock.
  • Knowledge of seasonal flower varieties and merchandising.
