Flow Room First Line Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 (Primarily Monday- Friday) 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Rotation

Location: Manton Wood, Worksop

If you enjoy being at the centre of a fast-paced operation, combining people leadership, problem-solving and technology, this could be a great next step! As a Flow Room First Line Manager at Manton Wood 1, you'll lead the team responsible for keeping work flowing efficiently across our operation, using systems including SAP, WMS and WCS to balance priorities, spot potential issues and maintain service for our customer.

It's a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with operational team, using data and your knowledge of the operation to make decisions, minimise downtime and continually improve how we work.

What You'll Do

  • Leading and developing Flow Room colleagues, setting clear priorities and supporting performance across the shift.
  • Monitoring warehouse systems to identify bottlenecks, alarms or service risks and taking action to keep the operation moving.
  • Managing wave allocation and workload priorities to support service and productivity.
  • Working with operational teams to resolve issues, minimise downtime and support planned maintenance.
  • Using performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and improve the way we operate.

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Have experience within warehouse or supply chain operations, with automated warehouse experience particularly beneficial.
  • Experience of SAP is essential
  • Are confident leading, developing and motivating colleagues to deliver great performance.
  • Enjoy problem-solving and can make confident, informed decisions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Have strong communication skills and can build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
