Excited by fast-paced challenges and looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact?
Join L'Oréal, the global beauty leader, as our new Flows Transport Admin on evening shift (6-month fixed-term contract).
If you thrive in a dynamic logistics environment, love solving operational puzzles, and want to grow your career with a world-class organisation, this is your opportunity. In this role, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our evening outbound shipments, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule while working closely with a supportive, driven team.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Outbound Trailer Execution: Drive the physical and administrative dispatch of all outbound freight on the PM shift, ensuring the correct stock is efficiently and safely loaded onto trailers to hit strict departure windows.
- Manage Carrier Check-Ins & Departures: Act as the key point of contact for transport drivers and carriers on-site, guiding them through the loading process, managing yard timelines, and ensuring all vehicle site guidance and protocols are met.
- Guarantee Flawless Documentation & Customs Compliance: Take total ownership of outbound administration, preparing and verifying all transport paperwork, delivery notes, and critical customs information to ensure seamless cross-border and domestic transit.
- Support Team Leadership & Floor Coordination: Work hand-in-hand with the Team Leader to support operators, provide clear day-to-day task instructions, and help direct the team on the floor to maintain momentum and safety. The role includes the Stand-in Team Leader duties.
- Drive System & Dispatch Accuracy: Ensure all movements, load confirmations, and dispatch records are accurately captured in our systems, maintaining complete data integrity for every truck that leaves the site.
- Troubleshoot Outbound Discrepancies: Swiftly investigate and resolve any last-minute loading errors, stock mismatches, or paperwork queries, collaborating closely with transport planners and commercial teams to avoid delays.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
