Join L'Oréal, the global beauty leader, as our new Flows Team Manager to lead operational execution, drive immediate problem resolution, and manage our physical teams across all three shifts. In this role, you will be the anchor for day-to-day site safety, carrier interactions, and direct people management.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Drive Inbound Accuracy and Execution
- Oversee daily inbound volume management, working closely with other teams such as planning, stock control and supply chain to forecast volumes and overcome blockers.
- Support to resolve transport and customs delays, and ensure seamless Subcon/PLV coordination.
- Investigate and focus on inbound transport quality and ordering patterns to result in timely and accurate deliveries every time.
Outbound Operational Flow
- Manage daily outbound performance, supporting with delivery recovery and investigating route causes for failures.
- Process carrier claims/ credits, investigate delivery queries and disputes.
- Managing operational improvements, carrier resources and KPI reporting across all outbound carriers UK&I.
Site Safety & Operational Excellence
- Create and maintain a high standard of operational site infrastructure, ensure loading bays and yard allows for safe and smooth operations.
- Lead on day-to-day problem resolution with transport team, order preparation and carriers to ensure all freight is collected in a timely manner.
- Drive proactive safety enhancements across loading bays and operational lines, ensuring all working areas are fully fit-for-purpose and compliant.
Lead & Empower People
- Empower and develop your shifts (AM/PM/NS) by fostering a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and shared accountability, championing talent development and collective success on the floor.
- Advocate for ongoing improvements and support of trainings for NEO/MHN developments.
