About The Role

Pertemps North Midlands seeks an FLT Counterbalance Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Burton upon Trent, paying £14.03 hourly. The successful applicant will operate a counterbalance forklift and PPT within a third-party logistics site, alongside manual duties such as picking, palletising, rework, and basic logistics administration. An in-date accredited B1 licence is essential, with twelve months' driving experience preferred; Reach or other MHE licences prove advantageous. Working hours may extend with overtime, particularly before Christmas. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork are vital. Industry-leading training and genuine progression prospects are offered, with the chance to secure a permanent post.

We are seeking a committed, hardworking Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy 3rd party logistics operation in Burton. You will be responsible for acting as a dedicated forklift / PPT driver as well as supporting with manual duties including picking, palletising, rework, and some basic logistics admin duties.

Whilst the workload will increase on the run up to Christmas, there is absolutely the opportunity to secure a long-term career with industry leading training and personal development.

What We Will Require

  • In-date accredited FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence, with ideally at least 12 months driver experience
  • Additional licences / MHE experience on Reach and/or VNA would be useful but not essential
  • Willingness to support with additional hours
  • Flexible to support with physical, off-truck duties
  • Good attention to detail, team player
  • Willingness to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement

Hours of work

  • 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 (rotating weekly)

Rate of pay

  • £14.03 per hour (reviewed annually)
