Driver Hire Crewe is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Crewe.
This is an initial 3-week assignment to cover a busy period, however there is potential for the role to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be working within an ambient warehouse environment, carrying out a variety of warehouse and FLT duties, including:

- Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT.
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse.
- Transferring goods between two nearby warehouses.
- Driving a company vehicle on a public road between the two sites.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid, externally accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
- Confident operating an FLT in a busy warehouse environment.
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
- A team player with a positive attitude.

- £15.69 per hour. (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Monday to Friday working – no weekends.
- 08:00 – 16:00 shifts.
- Friendly and supportive working environment.
