Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a leading manufacturer?

Location: Normanton, WF6

Pay: Up to £13.71 per hour

Plus £1.00 per hour shift premium for the fixed 2:00pm - 10:00pm shift.

Must Haves

  • Previous FLT driving experience
  • Confident working within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Hours

  • Fixed Early Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • OR
  • Fixed Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (+£1.00 per hour shift premium)

Due to continued expansion across three successful business areas, our client is looking to welcome experienced FLT Drivers into their established manufacturing team.

Working from a modern, purpose-built facility, you'll play an important role in keeping materials and products moving safely and efficiently around the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an FLT Driver looking for long-term stability, excellent working conditions and genuine permanent prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operating FLT equipment around the site
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials and finished products
  • Supplying production and warehouse areas with materials as required
  • Moving and storing stock safely in designated locations
  • Completing pre-use FLT safety checks and reporting any defects
  • Following all site health and safety procedures
  • Working closely with warehouse, production and logistics colleagues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • Previous experience working as an FLT Driver
  • Confident and safety-conscious approach to FLT operation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
