About The Role
An FLT Driver position is available in Kingswinford with Pertemps Dudley Industrial, paying £13.18 per hour. This full-time, temporary role operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. The successful candidate will join a manufacturing client, handling warehouse duties and operating a counterbalance forklift. A valid UK manual driving licence and an experienced counterbalance FLT licence are mandatory. Applicants must demonstrate proven forklift proficiency, a solid background in warehouse or distribution settings, and a strong grasp of health and safety protocols. FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Kingswinford
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm
Hourly Rate: £13.18ph
We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver/ warehouse operative to join our client, a manufacturing company in Kingswinford. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with strong warehouse and FLT experience. The successful candidate must be confident and experienced operating a counterbalance FLT in a busy working environment.

Key Requirements
- Valid UK manual driving licence – MUST HAVE
- Experienced Counterbalance FLT licence – MUST HAVE
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Responsibilities
- Operating the Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- General warehouse duties and stock handling
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
- Driving company vehicles between sites and carrying out local deliveries when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

- Warehouse experience
- A manual driving licence is essential, as driving between sites and completing local deliveries may form part of the role.
- Experience handling materials safely.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
- Good attention to detail.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
