About The Role
Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting a full-time FLT Driver - Counterbalance & Reach to join a family-owned manufacturing business in Minworth, paying £13.50 to £14 per hour. This temp-to-perm role offers an immediate start with a favourable day shift pattern. You will operate both counterbalance and reach trucks to transport stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities, complete approximately 200 order picks daily, and handle goods inwards, including unloading and storage. Additional duties involve booking in stock, inventory control, re-boxing smaller orders, and weighing items. Working independently within an 8,000 sq ft warehouse, you will follow written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Following written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices
- Order picking within an 8,000 sq ft warehouse (approximately 200 picks per day)
- Booking in stock and putting away
- Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities
- Stock taking and inventory control
- Re-boxing and weighing smaller orders
- Booking in returned products
- Goods inwards: unloading and storing raw materials
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
Essential Requirements
- Valid forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance)
- Full, clean UK driving licence, to permit you to operate the company van
- Experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Excellent command of the English language
- Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision
- Calm under pressure with a proactive approach
- Courteous and professional when dealing with customers

- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- £13.50 - £14.00 per hour with annual salary reviews
