About The Role
As an FLT Driver Flixborough, you will operate B1, B2 and B3 forklift trucks to support warehouse and production operations in Scunthorpe. Your duties involve loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock efficiently, and performing pre-use equipment checks to maintain safety standards. This temporary, on-going contract pays up to £14.50 per hour, with various shifts generally starting at 06:00. While a CHIPS qualification is advantageous, training is provided for suitable applicants. We seek a reliable, safety-conscious operator with valid licences for all three truck classes, ready to contribute to a busy industrial environment.

Hours: Various - Generally 06:00 starts
Contract: Temporary / on-going
CHIPS Qualification is advantageous but will be provided for suitable candidates

About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious FLT Driver with valid B1, B2 and B3 Forklift Truck licences to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting warehouse and operational activities, ensuring the safe movement, storage and loading of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate B1, B2 and B3 FLT equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles in line with company procedures.
- Move stock and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Conduct pre-use equipment checks and report any defects.
- Accurately complete stock movements and related documentation.
- Support goods-in and goods-out activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid and in-date B1, B2 and B3 FLT licences/certification.
- Previous experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of safe working practices.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work and shift patterns.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.

Desirable
- Experience using warehouse management systems.
- Manual handling training.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced logistics or manufacturing environment.
