About The Role
Pertemps Leicester Industrial seeks experienced FLT Driver for a Balsall manufacturing site. This full-time, temporary contract pays £13.59–£14.76 hourly. Working patterns cover nights on a 4 on/4 off rotation, or Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm. Duties include safely operating B1 Counterbalance and Reach trucks, loading and unloading vehicles, moving finished goods and raw materials, plus supporting warehouse and dispatch. Daily vehicle checks and adherence to health and safety rules are essential. Full training on B3 Counterbalance equipment is provided. Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance or reach licence and demonstrate reliability within a logistics setting.

We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance / Reach Drivers to join the busy logistics and dispatch operation of a well-established manufacturing company.
This is a great opportunity to join a secure, fast-paced environment with full training provided on B3 Counterbalance.
The Role
Working within the logistics and dispatch team, your duties will include:
- Safely operating B1 Counterbalance FLTs
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving finished goods and raw materials around site
- Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations
- Carrying out daily FLT checks
- Following all health & safety procedures and site requirements
- Working as part of a busy logistics team

Shift Options
🌙 Nights – 4 on / 4 off
6:00pm – 6:00am
☀️ Days – Monday to Friday
2:00pm – 10:00pm
Essential Requirements
- Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous FLT experience
- Experience within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of safe working practices
- Reliable and committed approach to work
- Willingness to complete additional B3 Counterbalance training – training provided
Training & Recruitment
Interviews and FLT assessments: ASAP
Please note: Completion of the 2-week induction period is mandatory.
All successful FLT Drivers will also receive additional training on the B3 Counterbalance.
