About the Role
Great opportunity to work as an FLT Driver for our client - A multinational packaging company specialising in sustainable corrugated packaging, paper products, and recycling solutions.
Staffline is recruiting Night Shift FLT Drivers in Ely.
Job Details
During your first 12 weeks on site, you'll earn £13.56 per hour.
Overtime is paid after 48 hours worked:
- £16.95 per hour Sunday to Thursday
- £20.34 per hour Friday and Saturday
After completing 12 weeks of service, your basic rate increases to £16.94 per hour.
Overtime is then paid after 40 hours worked:
- £21.18 per hour Sunday to Thursday
- £25.42 per hour Friday and Saturday
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Sunday to Thursday, and the hours of work are:
- 10pm to 6am
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable night-shift position with competitive pay and long-term prospects
Requirements
A valid FLT licence is required for this role.
To be eligible for this position, you must have the right to live and work in the UK. Due to the location of the site in Ely, applicants must have access to their own vehicle or reliable transport to travel to and from the workplace.

Your Time at Work
As an FLT Driver, your duties include:
- Working with the team to unload and load deliveries.
- Check quantities and quality, reporting any issues to the Goods in/Out Supervisor or equivalent.
- Housekeeping in yard and factory.
- H&S involvement and reporting.
Our Perfect Worker
This role involves lifting heavy loads mechanically and sometimes manually. So, forklift drivers must have a lot of stamina and physical strength.
Applicants must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop from time to time.
You must have the endurance to sit and drive the forklift for a very long time.
