About The Role

Pay Rate:
£17.60 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join our client at their Avonmouth Depot on a night shift basis. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading incoming artic trailers, sorting and marking up pallets, and reloading vehicles ready for morning dispatch. Duties will also include rotating between FLT operation and associated warehouse paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Unload 2-3 artic trailers per shift.
- Mark up and organise pallets accurately.
- Reload trailers ready for morning deliveries.
- Complete warehouse and dispatch paperwork as required.
- Rotate between FLT duties and administrative tasks.
- Always follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Essential
- Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance preferred).
- Previous FLT and warehouse experience.
- Ability to work permanent night shifts.
- Own transport due to shift times and depot location.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Profile and FLT Licence required before placement.

Desirable
- Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Experience moving/shunting trailers.
Training: Candidates without a Class 2 licence may be considered and can receive basic shunting training.
