Job Title: FLT Driver & Warehouse Operative
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Salary: £13.40 - £14.40 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with early finish on a Friday!

Our client is a well-established and growing business that is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT licence to join their friendly, close-knit team. Based in a modern, purpose-built warehouse, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities As FLT Driver & Warehouse Operative
- Manage stock efficiently using the warehouse management system, ensuring accurate inventory control.
- Safely load and unload trailers while moving goods throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld warehouse scanners.
- Replenish stock and organise storage areas to maximise warehouse space.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in line with company procedures.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well-organised.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Build and maintain a good understanding of the company's products.

Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced and physically active role.
- A positive, reliable and hardworking approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic IT skills, along with a good standard of Maths and English.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn, develop and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
