Join a dynamic energy provider dedicated to sustainable solutions in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Engineer to join a fast-paced development team delivering high-quality mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform applications using Flutter, while contributing to architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Initially it will be a six-month contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one day a week being based in their London. It is a full-time role, 37 hours per week. If this role feels right, send us your CV.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to other developers.
- Optimise application performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive commercial experience developing mobile applications with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience integrating APIs and working with cloud-based services.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready applications.
- Knowledge of state management solutions.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
- Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
- Previous experience working within Agile delivery teams.
