Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Flutter Engineer (iOS & Android) with full stack experience. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a consistent user experience. - Collaborating with product and design teams
- Integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
- Implementing secure payment flows
- Optimizing mobile apps for speed, reliability, and usability
- Troubleshooting issues
- Writing clean and testable code
- Participating in code reviews
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the mobile and backend stack

The engineer will work closely with other developers to ensure seamless integration with KorePOS’s POS, payment, inventory, and customer-facing features.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications, with experience building and deploying production-ready apps.
- Proficiency in iOS Development and iOS frameworks, including app lifecycle management and integration with platform-specific features.
- Experience in Software Development using Flutter/Dart, and familiarity with modern backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, or similar).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating mobile apps with cloud-based services and payment gateways.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks for mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and mobile UX principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in POS, fintech, retail, or restaurant technology domains is an advantage.
