About The Role

We are seeking a talented Flutter Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team remotely, based in the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-scale mobile applications that serve millions of users, including prominent clients like Amazon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter for both iOS and Android devices. You will be integral to designing and consuming REST APIs, collaborating with web and embedded teams, and contributing to the overall technical strategy of our mobile solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in mobile app development using Flutter. A strong understanding of designing, building, and consuming REST APIs is essential. Candidates should be familiar with Flutter state management solutions such as Bloc or similar frameworks. A solid foundation in computer science principles, including database indexing and basic algorithms, is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are also necessary to succeed in this role. While a formal degree in computer science or related fields is preferred, practical experience and a demonstrable portfolio of previous work are equally valued.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Design, implement, and optimize REST APIs to facilitate seamless communication between mobile apps and backend services.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring code quality and sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Collaborate closely with web and embedded teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Engage in sprint planning, technical scoping, and contribute to the development of project timelines and deliverables.
  • Support the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mobile applications and APIs.
