About The Role

We are seeking a talented Flutter Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team remotely, primarily based in the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale mobile applications that are actively used by millions, including prominent clients such as Amazon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience. This position is not just about coding; it involves participating in the entire development lifecycle, from designing APIs to collaborating with web and embedded teams, and contributing to sprint planning and technical scoping.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience developing mobile applications in Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with Flutter state management solutions such as Bloc or similar frameworks.
  • Basic understanding of computer science concepts, including database indexing and data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively within a UK-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter, ensuring optimal performance on both iOS and Android devices.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to consume and help design RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly into the mobile applications.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and participating in regular code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Work closely with web and embedded teams to deliver integrated solutions that align with overall platform goals.
  • Engage in sprint planning, technical scoping, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Support less experienced team members through mentorship and knowledge sharing, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.
