About The Role:
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00am to 15:00pm
Main Purpose:
Supporting the Contract Manager and Engineering Team in the delivery of hard FM services across PFI Medical centres and Leisure Centre in the Essex region.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance through planned audits, inspections, testing and reviewing compliance logbooks.
- Ensure all Compliance records are always up to date and available on each site to be viewed.
- Escalated to the Contract Management any non-compliance issues.
- Produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on request covering all services, managing of the CAFM for all tasks planned and reactive works.
- Meet with client and auditors as necessary and attend meetings ensuring all agreed actions are completed.
- Maintain buildings and sites across the contract portfolio as required.
- Take ownership of maintenance delivery at all sites
- Support all sites as and when required.
- On call for emergencies.
- Organising on the call rota sharing with Helpdesk.
- Supervision of maintenance team
- Ensure the engineering team are competent and fully supported in all tasks.
- Ensure the engineering team and fully trained for their tasks and refresher courses are planned and implemented, consulting with the Contract Manager.
- Work closely with the contract scheduler and assist in allocation of tasks to engineers.
- Priorities own and engineer’s workload.
- Delegating tasks to engineers where required using skill base.
- Supervision of subcontractors as required.

Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years supervisory or acting supervisory experience in building maintenance and or Facilities management
- Previous trade training in M&E and experience preferred.
- Be a good all-round experienced maintenance engineer to complete minor works and reactive tasks.
- Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of the daily and weekly working and assisting colleagues.
- Capable of competently using the IT provided.
- Be prepared to complete any task requested of you in the maintenance and support of the Contract implementation.
- Attend training as required to enhance supervisory and technical skills.
- Knowledge of H&S
