About the Role

Here at the Hollies Farm Shop we’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused FOH/Kitchen Team Lead to join our vibrant team. This is a dynamic split role where you’ll lead both front-of-house service and support our kitchen team, ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional food and a warm, memorable experience.

You’ll be the link between the Front of house and kitchen pass, coordinating service, maintaining high standards, and motivating the team to deliver excellence. From distributing food and drink to greeting guests with genuine warmth, you’ll set the tone for quality and hospitality.

As Shift Leader you will support the Café Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the front-of-house team, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service

  • Oversee day-to-day café operations, creating shift briefs to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and product quality
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures
  • Complying with HACCP procedures and daily Logit reports
  • Monitor stock levels, wastage and assist with ordering and inventory control
  • Handle cash control, daily takings, and appropriate reporting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
