An Exciting Opportunity in the Cotswolds
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, proactive and energetic hospitality professionals to join our team at Burleigh Court Cotswolds, a beautiful country-house hotel and restaurant overlooking the Golden Valley near Stroud.
Burleigh Court offers a unique combination of country-house character, beautiful Cotswolds surroundings, quality food, exceptional guest experiences and relaxed luxury.
The property features 18 bedrooms, four acres of grounds, beautiful gardens, terraces, a historic bar and lounge, a Wellness Garden and restored historic plunge pool, creating a diverse hospitality environment in which to develop your career.
The Burleigh Restaurant
At the heart of the property is The Burleigh Restaurant, a Two-Rosette restaurant focused on quality food and fresh, local produce.
The restaurant offers a range of experiences including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, Sunday lunch, pizza and grills, private dining and seasonal terrace dining.
The beautiful terraces provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy drinks and food while taking in the surrounding Cotswolds views.
The property also has its own kitchen garden, supporting its focus on fresh local ingredients.
This creates an exciting environment for hospitality professionals who want to work with quality food, genuine hospitality and discerning guests.
Available Positions
🍽️ Restaurant Waiter
Deliver attentive, personalised and proactive table service. Anticipate guest needs, understand the menu and beverages, and create a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
🥂 Restaurant Host
Become the first point of contact for our guests. Create a warm and genuine welcome, manage arrivals and reservations, understand guest preferences and ensure a seamless journey throughout their visit.
🛎️ Porter
Provide a professional and welcoming arrival experience. Assist guests with luggage, arrivals, departures and general hotel support while maintaining discretion, professionalism and attention to detail.
✨ Guest Experience Host
Create memorable experiences that go beyond expectations. Anticipate guest requirements, provide personalised assistance and ensure that every interaction contributes to a positive and lasting impression.
🏊 Poolside Waiter
Provide attentive and proactive service around the restored historic pool and leisure areas. Deliver food and beverage service while maintaining high standards of presentation, discretion and guest care.
🌿 Terrace Waiter
Deliver professional and genuine table and beverage service on the beautiful terraces. Create a relaxed yet refined experience while helping guests enjoy the food, drinks and views of the Cotswolds.
🍷 Sommelier – 1 Position
Provide knowledgeable and personalised wine service. Assist guests with wine selection and pairing, maintain excellent product knowledge and work closely with the restaurant team to elevate the overall dining experience.

🍕 Chef Pizzaiolo – 1 Position
Prepare high-quality pizzas while maintaining excellent standards of consistency, presentation, food safety and kitchen organisation.
🍽️ Commis Waiter – 2 Positions
Support the front-of-house team with food and beverage service while developing professional hospitality skills. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are starting or developing their hospitality career and want to learn within a high-quality environment.
