Company Description

No.4 Hamilton Place is a distinguished Edwardian venue in Mayfair. We are home to the Royal Aeronautical Society who are a professional body dedicated to aerospace communities. We exist to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science and engineering around the world.

The Role

This is a full time on-site role for a Front of House position at No.4 Hamilton Place. The role involves meeting and greeting clients and members, ensuring a positive experience for guests and maintaining the high standards of the venue, and providing administrative support to the event sales team.

  • Act as the first and main point of contact in the building to meet, greet and direct clients and guests on arrival, assisting with enquiries from guests and employees during events and day to day.
  • Provide excellent customer service and a high standard of client experience at all times.
  • Manage the shared mailboxes, take messages and direct as appropriate.
  • House-keeping duties to ensure entry lobby and reception area are always kept clean, tidy and organised.
  • Assist Venue Hire team with administrative tasks, including but not limited to; data entry onto CRM, reserving spaces for internal events and meetings, mail shots, event sheets, email correspondence.
  • Distribute post/parcels daily to relevant departments and managing outgoing post.
  • Book cleaning, AV, and security and other services for the venue as required.
  • Occasional assistance on events and setups as required.
  • Act as Fire Marshal and Emergency First Aider.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be working in a customer facing role and have experience of providing exceptional customer service.

We are looking for proactive, ambitious and forward thinking individuals who are keen to succeed in a busy and exciting role.

  • Interpersonal Skills and Interpersonal Communication
  • Customer Service experience
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
