Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
Guest Service
- Welcome guests warmly and deliver friendly, attentive food and beverage service across our restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, and events.
- Help create incredible memories by anticipating guest needs and making every guest feel special.
- Learn about our menus, drinks, allergens, dietary requirements, and daily specials so you can speak with confidence.
- Support smooth service by working closely with colleagues across Food and Beverage, Kitchen, Front of House, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
- Respond professionally to guest questions, feedback, and requests, escalating where needed.

- Work positively with colleagues to create a supportive, respectful, and inclusive team environment.
- Prepare, set up, and clear down service areas so they are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Use quieter periods productively by restocking, polishing, cleaning, and completing service checks.
- Support private dining, events, exclusive-use stays, and other operational needs as directed.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, food safety, allergen, and licensing procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Training
- No formal qualifications are essential; full training will be provided.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, bar, or customer service work is desirable.
- A food hygiene qualification is helpful but not essential.
- Candidates must be willing to complete required training, including food safety, allergen awareness, health and safety, licensing, and service standards.
- Good spoken English and confident communication skills are important for guest-facing service.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must be able to live in a rural location and ideally have own transport, though not essential.
