Holiday Inn Kenilworth–Warwick is a four-star hotel in Kenilworth offering 115 modern guest rooms and four versatile meeting and event spaces that can accommodate up to 250 people with abundant natural daylight. The hotel is situated in the heart of Warwickshire, providing convenient access to major Midlands motorways including the M40, M1, and M6. Birmingham Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive away, making the hotel accessible for guests and team members. As part of a well-known hospitality brand, the hotel welcomes a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers and focuses on delivering a comfortable, friendly, and efficient guest experience.

Role Description

This part-time Food and Beverage Assistant role is an on-site position based at Holiday Inn Kenilworth–Warwick in Kenilworth. The role involves:

  • Serving food and beverages in the restaurant, bar, and event spaces
  • Ensuring all service areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Setting up and clearing tables
  • Assisting with buffet and event service
  • Handling basic food preparation or plating
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards

The Food and Beverage Assistant also supports billing and payment processes, communicates guest needs to the wider team, and works closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality service experience.

  • Strong Food & Beverage knowledge with practical experience in Food Service.
  • Basic Food Preparation skills and an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Proven Customer Service skills with a friendly and professional approach to guests.
  • Clear and confident Communication skills, including effective teamwork with colleagues.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to stand for extended periods and carry out manual handling tasks.
