Food & Beverage Manager

Location: In the heart of the beautiful New Forest in the village of Burley.

Are you the kind of person who can spot an empty wine glass from across the room? Do you thrive on creating memorable guest experiences while keeping calm when the restaurant is full, the wedding breakfast is about to be served, and someone has just asked for "one more table"?

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant and Conference & Banqueting operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid hospitality experience who's ready to make their mark, or for an ambitious supervisor or assistant manager looking to step into a bigger role with the right support.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage department, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service whether they're joining us for breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea, a wedding, or a corporate event.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
