Company Description

The Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth is a historic hotel located on the seafront, offering guests classic accommodation, dining, and event facilities. The hotel serves a diverse range of leisure and business guests, with multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, and function spaces.

Team members are encouraged to deliver attentive service and maintain high standards of presentation throughout the hotel. The Food and Beverage team works collaboratively to create memorable guest experiences and support the hotel’s reputation in Bournemouth.

Role Description

The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth. This role oversees daily operations across the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and event spaces, ensuring excellent service, product quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Experience

Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage operations skills, with experience in restaurant, bar, or hotel environments.

  • Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including the ability to manage guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
  • Candidates should possess Training and team leadership skills to coach staff, deliver briefings, and support performance and development.
  • Candidates should possess Budgeting and cost-control skills, with the ability to monitor sales, manage stock, and support profitability.
  • Relevant experience in hospitality or hotel food and beverage management is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and health and safety standards in a hospitality setting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
