About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional Restaurant Server to provide excellent service and support the smooth daily operation of our restaurant. You will help prepare the restaurant for service, take care of guests, maintain high standards, and ensure every customer feels like a VIP.
Key Information
Role: Food & Beverage Assistant - 20 Hours
Hourly Salary: £12.71
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant for service, including mise-en-place and cleanliness.
- Greet, seat, and serve guests, ensuring fast, friendly, and efficient service.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and manage your station confidently.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu and advise guests when needed.
- Follow Micros system procedures and handle billing correctly.
- Keep tables and service areas clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing rules at all times.
- Report any guest issues, delays, or complaints to the supervisor.
- Assist with daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Support closing procedures at the end of the shift.
- Maintain security of cash, stock, and your Micros key.
- Work in Room Service when required.
- Attend team meetings and participate in training.

Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Must follow all legal, safety, and company policies.
