The Venue

At the heart of Manchester’s cultural life, The Bridgewater Hall is an internationally celebrated concert venue built for musical brilliance. Opened in 1996 by Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh, it delivers over 300 unforgettable performances each year, spanning classical masterpieces to contemporary world music. A place where artists inspire and audiences connect; The Bridgewater Hall is proudly operated by Legends Global.

The Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests attending concerts, events and performances at one of Manchester's most iconic venues. Working across bars, kiosks and hospitality areas, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere, provide outstanding service and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience throughout their visit.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on engaging with customers and are looking for flexible work within the hospitality and live events industry.

The Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and snacks while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, responding to enquiries and promoting current products and offers.
  • Process orders and payments accurately using till and point-of-sale systems.
  • Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas, responding promptly to spills and potential health and safety hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure an exceptional guest experience at every event.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, events or another customer-facing environment.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Friendly, approachable and professional communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • An understanding of food hygiene and safety standards, or a willingness to undertake training where required.
  • A positive attitude, strong team ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Recruitment Process Outlined

You will be invited into our venue for one of our Recruitment days for you to showcase what you can do!

Please Note: We are looking for people to join us as soon as possible, ahead of our busy September calendar. As a result, we will be holding interviews at The Bridgewater Hall on Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th August, followed by an induction on Thursday 27th August.
