The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection
The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Food & Beverage Attendants to join our Conference & Events Team on a casual basis.
This is a flexible role, offering hours to support the Conference & Events operation during busy periods, conferences, weddings, private functions and special events. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The Food & Beverage Attendant Will
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service throughout conferences, meetings, weddings and events.
- Prepare and set up event spaces, including room layouts, tables, buffets and refreshment stations, ensuring all areas meet the required standards.
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm and memorable experience.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of food, beverages and event service standards.
- Ensure all function rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the hotel to ensure events run smoothly from set-up through to breakdown.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, taking the initiative to exceed expectations where possible.
- Complete all daily duties and event checklists efficiently and accurately.
- Support the team by providing flexible cover during busy periods, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally within conferences, banqueting, events or hospitality (preferred but not essential).
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude.
- A good command of spoken and written English.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, in line with business needs.
