Two world-class Hyatt hotels opened in Manchester’s Innovation District in January 2020. As a CMT, you'll develop your management capabilities, gain deep exposure in your area of specialisation, get insights into other hotel departments, and make meaningful contributions to your hotel's success.
At Hyatt Hotels Manchester, you will have the opportunity to specialise in Food & Beverage.
What You’ll Experience: Programme Highlights
Our 12-month programme includes:
- Technical Skills Module: Develop a strong foundation in the key technical skills and operational procedures within your chosen area of specialisation, either Rooms or Food & Beverage.
- Management Module: Step into managerial responsibilities, gaining practical experience in leading teams, managing resources and driving performance.
- Rotation Module: Gain a holistic understanding of hotel operations through exposure to other key departments outside your area of specialisation.
- Leadership Development: Participate in team-leading tasks, management projects and various leadership programmes.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Work closely with assigned programme managers and mentors to guide your development.
- Customised Training Plan: You will receive a personalised training plan tailored to your individual career objectives and developmental needs.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess the following:

- Interest in Hospitality: A genuine interest in the hospitality industry and a desire to grow with Hyatt.

- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues and management.
- Relevant Experience: Previous internship or work experience in hospitality or a related field is highly preferred. Studies in hospitality, hotel management, tourism or a related discipline would be beneficial, but are not essential.

The Opportunity
- Location: Hyatt Hotels Manchester
- Department: Food & Beverage, depending on your preferred area of specialisation
- Programme length: 12 months
- Programme structure: 10 months specialising in either Food & Beverage, followed by 2 months of exposure across other key hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality/related field
- Language Skills: A good working knowledge of English and proficiency in local language is an advantage
- Experience: Relevant internship & work experience in hotel or hospitality operations is an advantage
- Skills: Strong communication & interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and cultural awareness
- Personal Attribute: Passionate about hospitality, high adaptability & resilience, and curious about global hospitality trends
