The Venue

Bold in scale and ambition, P&J Live is the largest events complex in the North of Scotland. Opened in 2019, this £333 million, sustainability-led venue delivers world-class live entertainment, conferences and exhibitions, all powered by local renewable energy making it Aberdeenshire’s hub for culture, innovation and global events.

The Role

You will assist the Assistant Food & Beverage Managers in the running of the F&B operations ensuring that all guests receive a high-quality service to achieve sales targets. To assist in fulfilling the vision of the venue to put the guests at the heart of everything we do.

The Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of smooth, profitable F&B operations across suites, VIP bars, kiosks, conferences and banqueting areas.
  • Lead and motivate teams during events, ensuring exceptional customer service and the highest operational standards at all times.
  • Coordinate event delivery with F&B Managers, venue departments and external contractors to meet client expectations.
  • Manage stock, ordering and EPOS reporting, ensuring resources and inventory are aligned with the upcoming events calendar.
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and company procedures, while supporting team training, performance and development.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, events, leisure or entertainment environment, with an understanding of fast-paced Food & Beverage operations.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service across a variety of F&B outlets and events.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to support, motivate and guide colleagues in a busy operational environment.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and contribute to the successful delivery of events.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene requirements, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days as required.

  2. 2nd Stage - Face to Face Interview with F&B Team
