Job Description
SCOPE OF POSITION
As Food and Beverage Floor Supervisor you will oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role involves managing staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring inventory, and maintaining quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
- Directly supervise breakfast service staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel.
- Ensure that breakfast offerings are varied, high-quality, and align with the establishment's brand standards.
- Monitor food trends and guest feedback to continuously improve and update breakfast menu offerings.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement improvements as necessary.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets.
- Address any issues or concerns related to food safety or sanitation.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control measures.
- Monitor expenses and revenue, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.

Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience within a Food & Beverage environment, preferably in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications being advantageous (e.g., Food Safety Level 2 or 3).
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and maintain high service standards.
- Good organisational and administrative skills, including experience with rota management, payroll systems, stock control, and budget awareness.
