About Hyatt Regency Birmingham
Hyatt Regency Birmingham is ideally located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall and within walking distance of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Brindley Place, and the Bullring shopping centre. This contemporary four-star hotel offers direct access to the vibrant canal-side area and is a short stroll from Birmingham New Street Station. The hotel features 319 spacious guest rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a traditional pub-style bar, and a luxurious spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.
Duties and responsibilities related to the Food & Beverage Manager role
- Oversee the smooth running of all Food & Beverage operations across outlets and events.
- Manage and support the F&B team to ensure exceptional guest service and adherence to hotel standards.
- Monitor daily revenues, costs, and payroll to ensure operations remain within budgeted guidelines.
- Train, develop, and motivate the team, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
- Ensure all outlets maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service in line with company policies.
- Coordinate and oversee events and functions, ensuring successful execution and guest satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and World of Hyatt members.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in accordance with hotel policy and report key issues to management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service, efficiency, and profitability.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the hotel, particularly in relation to Food & Beverage initiatives.

Qualifications
About you:
As a Food and Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Birmingham, you will lead your colleagues to provide the best possible experience for our guests. To successfully fulfil this role, you will champion Hyatt’s purpose and brand promise. You will be a passionate self-starter and a strong communicator who is outcome-oriented, supporting and leading your team to achieve and exceed guest expectations within Food and Beverage.
You will not be afraid to experiment and learn from situations, demonstrating an inclusive mindset. You will have previous experience in large international hotels and a proven track record of improving F&B KPIs. Previous experience with Hyatt is desirable.
What We Offer
- Salary is between £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending upon experience
