About Leeds Playhouse:
Leeds Playhouse are recruiting for a new full-time, fixed-term Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
Role Overview:
Alongside the other frontline teams (Front of House, Security, and Box Office), the Food & Beverage team plays a pivotal role as the public face of the theatre, welcoming audiences and visitors and delivering a first-class customer experience, whilst still ensuring service is fast enough to allow people to enjoy their visit in time before seeing a show. The team efficiently operates the Playhouse Bar, Terrace Bar, Playhouse Kitchen, and Front Room Café, proactively maximising sales, especially during periods of great time pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food & Beverage Supervisors are required to cover all aspects of Food & Beverage service delivery in each of the areas of operation.
- The Supervisor may oversee more than one area at a time depending on business levels, and will have oversight of a staff group made up of several team members.
- Reporting to Food & Beverage management, the Supervisor will monitor and champion the Playhouse standards.
- They will be responsible for leading their team on shift to ensure the best service is provided to all customers across the range of Food & Beverage services.

Contract Details:
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract of 35 hours per week until July 2027. Working pattern will vary, typically working 5 days across Monday to Saturday, with some evening and occasional Sunday work required. Salary for the role is £24,211 per year.
