Job Description
Location: 10 Paradise Walk
We are recruiting daytime and evening/weekend food and beverage staff for our events team and our bar/restaurant outlets. There are breakfast shifts starting from 7am in the morning and evening shifts that can finish around 2am, so whether you are an early riser or a night owl we have shifts to suit everyone.
If you enjoy helping people and are a good communicator this could be the role for you. We offer NVQ'S and in-house training and our team benefit from discounts at Hiltons worldwide with the Hilton Go program.
About The Role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer-focused environment.
- Ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events desirable.
- Ensure compliance of brand standards.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner, following policy for customer details.
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
- Up-sell with the latest departmental incentives.
- Strive to achieve departmental targets.
- Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms.
- Compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene/cleaning in restaurant/back of house areas.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Comply with local licensing laws.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
- Compliance with company grooming standards.
- Compliance with company phone policy.
- Compliance with company smoking policy.
- Compliance with food hygiene regulations.
- Awareness of food allergens and follow company procedures.
- Any other reasonable management instructions.

Required Criteria
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Right to work in UK.
- Good understanding of English language.
- Must be age 18+.
- Available to work across a 7-day week.
Desired Criteria
- 6 months food and beverage experience.

Salary: Starting from £10.85 Hourly
