Job Description

Location: 10 Paradise Walk

We are recruiting daytime and evening/weekend food and beverage staff for our events team and our bar/restaurant outlets. There are breakfast shifts starting from 7am in the morning and evening shifts that can finish around 2am, so whether you are an early riser or a night owl we have shifts to suit everyone.

If you enjoy helping people and are a good communicator this could be the role for you. We offer NVQ'S and in-house training and our team benefit from discounts at Hiltons worldwide with the Hilton Go program.

About The Role

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events desirable.
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner, following policy for customer details.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
  • Up-sell with the latest departmental incentives.
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets.
  • Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms.
  • Compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene/cleaning in restaurant/back of house areas.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
  • Comply with local licensing laws.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
  • Compliance with company grooming standards.
  • Compliance with company phone policy.
  • Compliance with company smoking policy.
  • Compliance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Awareness of food allergens and follow company procedures.
  • Any other reasonable management instructions.

Required Criteria

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Right to work in UK.
  • Good understanding of English language.
  • Must be age 18+.
  • Available to work across a 7-day week.

Desired Criteria

  • 6 months food and beverage experience.
