Food & Beverage Team Member – Wedgwood Tea Room
Join us at the iconic World of Wedgwood!
We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to join our team in the beautiful and iconic Wedgwood Tea Room at our award-winning visitor destination, World of Wedgwood in Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent.
Home to one of Britain’s most prestigious ceramics brands, World of Wedgwood is a unique place to work. With exciting events, conferences, new facilities and activities continuing to grow across the site, there’s always something happening.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and looking after our guests with a warm, friendly approach
- Delivering the high standards of service associated with the Wedgwood brand
- Building positive relationships with guests and creating a memorable experience
- Supporting exciting events, conferences and activities across the site
- Assisting with bookings and general enquiries
- Helping to maintain a welcoming, professional and beautifully presented environment
What we’re looking for:
You don’t need to have worked in a luxury environment before – what matters most to us is your enthusiasm, personality and passion for great customer service.
Ideally, you’ll have previous hospitality experience, but we’re also happy to hear from quick learners who are keen to develop their skills.
You’ll be:
- Friendly, confident and enthusiastic when meeting and welcoming guests
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Well presented, professional and attentive to detail
- A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
- Comfortable using technology, or confident in learning systems such as Collins & Hospitality
- Positive, flexible and someone with a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude

The role
This is a fixed-term, part-time position until 3rd January 2027, working 12 hours per week over 2 days, predominantly Saturday and Sunday.
Occasional evening work may be required, with prior arrangement.
Location: World of Wedgwood, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent – just 5 minutes from Trentham.
