I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Candidate

This is a role where you will be involved with everything to do with the brand's product offering so broad experience would work well. This will ideally come from working within a fast-paced QSR / Coffee Shop / Food to Go brand with multiple sites.

Would suit an ambitious Product Developer who is commercially astute, does not shy away from negotiating to get the best ingredients, and is passionate about every aspect of menu development and launch – talented enough to step up and take full product ownership. Or it could also suit a really foodie Buyer who has proven commercial acumen within QSR and is looking to broaden their product development skills, following their passion for food. As the business is growing, this role could lead to a Head of Food position in a couple of years.

These roles don’t surface very often so apply or call Georgina to have a confidential chat and find out if this scaling QSR brand fits with your career aspirations.
