This is a varied role where you'll work closely with site teams and managers to drive high standards of food safety, health and safety, and compliance. You'll support locations to manage risk effectively, investigate incidents, improve performance and embed a positive safety culture that enables teams to deliver exceptional hospitality.

We're interested in hearing from candidates with a background in Environmental Health or experience in Food, Health & Safety within the hospitality sector. If you enjoy working with operational teams, driving standards and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Description

More about the role:

  • Champion a positive, proactive Food, Health & Safety culture, providing expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring to managers, chefs and operational teams.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for health, safety and food safety matters.
  • Drive consistent implementation of Food, Health & Safety policies, procedures, training, and safety initiatives across all locations.
  • Lead and support investigations into accidents, allergen incidents, and alleged food poisoning cases, identifying root causes and ensuring robust corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Analyse and report on safety performance data, identifying trends, assessing performance, and working with teams to reduce recurrences, escalating emerging risks.
  • Conduct regular site visits, offering constructive feedback, identifying emerging risks, and promoting best practice.
  • Ensure timely closure of accident, audit and EHO action plans across all locations.
  • Support new mobilisations to ensure safety processes are embedded from day one.
  • Manage the digital safety management system, ensuring it is fully embedded into location processes and that teams are appropriately trained and confident in its use.
  • Monitor system usage to ensure safety performance is accurately captured, reported, and that prompt action is taken to address non-compliance or identified risks.
  • Maintain and develop engaging Food, Health & Safety training programmes for all team members and ensure completion of mandatory training.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and confidently present at internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate with the wider Food, Health & Safety team to ensure alignment with wider group standards and initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
