Working across all production areas, our Hygiene Operatives ensure that all machinery, equipment, and facilities consistently meet strict hygiene and food safety standards.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring all designated areas remain clean, tidy, and compliant with internal procedures and hygiene regulations. This includes carrying out cleaning tasks to the required specification and reporting any hygiene or safety concerns promptly.

Main Duties

  • Carry out all scheduled daily cleaning tasks and ensure associated paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Ensure all PPE dispensers are fully stocked.
  • Clean production lines and processing equipment to the required standards, verified through hygiene testing and sampling.
  • Ensure all work complies with company procedures relating to Hygiene, Food Safety, and Health & Safety.
  • Check that all cleaning equipment and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times.
  • Report any incidents, hazards, or environmental concerns immediately to your Team Leader or Section Leader.
  • Ensure all cleaning materials are returned to the Hygiene storeroom in good condition at the end of each shift.
  • Report any damage to cleaning or personal protective equipment to your Team Leader and Supervisor.
  • Ensure machinery is turned off and cleaned safely and correctly following company procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
