The Opportunity
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented Packing & Fulfilment Manager to take ownership of our daily pick-pack, batch control, and dispatch operations. Positioned right at the intersection of Production, QA, and Logistics, this role will be tailored to the experience of the right candidate.
For a Stepping-Up Supervisor (£32k–£34k PA):
- Focus will be on leading the packing team on the floor, managing daily pick lists, maintaining batch traceability, and ensuring zero-defect order releases.

For an Experienced Manager (£35k–£36.5k PA):
- In addition to daily operational execution, you will help design and implement our digital inventory systems, optimise cold-chain workflows, and drive operational efficiency as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and coach a small packing team during busy dispatch windows.
- Batch & Traceability Control: Verify production dates, batch numbers, and use-by details, maintaining flawless audit trails from freezer to doorstep.
- Cold-Chain Logistics: Oversee pick lists, stock movement, temperature integrity, and direct-to-consumer/wholesale packing requirements.
- Systems & Inventory: Run physical stock counts and help refine our evolving digital inventory and tracking tools.
- QA Guardrail: Act as the final checkpoint - escalating and halting any product releases that do not strictly meet food safety or labeling standards.

What We’re Looking For
- Practical experience in food manufacturing, cold-chain logistics, or warehouse fulfilment.
- Working knowledge of food safety basics, batch tracing, and date control (HACCP experience is a bonus).
- Methodical, calm under operational pressure, and comfortable using digital spreadsheets/records.
- Located within a reliable commute of Acton, NW10.
